Step 1 - Commission Inquiry Form
If you haven’t done so already, please fill out the Commission Inquiry Form. By filling out the form, you will provide us with the initial details and ideas to create your custom piece. It could be simple words as “a unique gem ring” or a quick drawing you put on a post-it. Please feel free to email us any ideas.
Step 2 - Consultation
Once the Commission Inquiry Form is received we will send a follow-up email within 24 hours. The purpose of this email is for us to schedule a consultation, either via telephone or in-person (if you’re local to the California San Jose area). The call should take approximately 15 minutes (the in-person meeting can take approximately 30 minutes), which will allow us to thoroughly go over the details of your project, such as design ideas, budget, timeline.
Step 3 - Contract
After the consultation, we will begin drafting your design. A written contract will be sent to you within a few days via email. Along with the Contract, you will receive specific details of your project, your final design, estimated cost, and a completion timeline.
Step 4 - Deposit
A non-refundable 50% deposit is due with the signed contract. This will guarantee your place in line and we can begin creating your dream piece.
If there are any large gemstones needed in the design, we will carefully source the perfect gemstone for you. Once the gem is chosen by you, it will need be paid in full.
Step 5 - A Dream Piece in the Making
As each custom piece is so unique, the completion timeline can vary. We work very closely together with you will show you all the important steps during bench making by emails. The remaining 50% payment will be collected upon the completion of the jewelry.
